  2. Bacterial or fungal infections

  4. Injury to the vagina
  5. Poor hygienic conditions

  7. Irritation caused by contraceptives
  8. Anemia or diabetes
  9. Stress or anxiety

Home Remedies for Leucorrhoea (Vaginitis):

You can go for medical treatments, but many women choose natural cures for treating leucorrhoea. Here are some remedies you can try at home.

Fenugreek Seeds:

Fenugreek seeds are effective in many diseases and disorders, including vaginal disorders. Boil three teaspoons for fenugreek seeds in one litre of water for 30 minutes. Strain the water and let it cool. Drink this water.

Guava leaves:

Boil guava leaves in one litre of water for 30 minutes. Strain the water and cool it. Use the water for applying on vagina twice a day.

Coriander Seeds:

Soak 10 gm of  dry coriander seeds in 100 ml of water overnight. Drink this water next morning on an empty stomach. Repeat this twice or thrice a week for positive results.

Banana:

You should eat a banana every day if are suffering from leucorrhoea. Eat one banana with milk and honey in the morning.

Ginger Powder:

Boil 2 teaspoons of ginger powder in 250 ml of  water for 30 minutes. Drink this water for few weeks until you feel relieved.

Basil Leaves:

Prepare the juice of basil leaves and mix with equal amount of honey. Take this mixture twice a day for few weeks.

Mango:

Mango pulp made for ripe mangoes, when applied on vagina can help reduce the irritation and itching caused by leucorrhoea.
