2. Tea tree oil

Does tea tree oil get rid of acne? Well, the answer is yes. In fact, it can actually work better than benzoyl peroxide in reducing acne.

Method: Apply the oil to your pimple until it disappears.

3. Hydrogen peroxide

One treatment method includes applying hydrogen peroxide on pimples. Hydrogen peroxide has antibacterial properties that kill bacteria. But you must always consult your dermatologists first before experimenting with it.

Hydrogen peroxide is available in cream as well as liquid form. Do not use products that contain hydrogen peroxide with more than a 3% concentration.

Method: Clean your face with warm water and let your face dry. Take a cotton ball in dip it into the hydrogen peroxide. Apply only in the affected area. Let it soak into your skin for 10 minutes.

Apply a good quality facial moisturizer after it gets soaked into your skin because hydrogen peroxide has a drying capability and absorbs excess oil from your skin. To avoid over dryness applying a moisturizer after hydrogen peroxide is a must.

4. Castor oil for acne

Castor oil remedy for acne works best if you have cystic acne.

Method: Clean your face and pat dry. Using your find tips apply castor oil to the affected area and massage gently. Wait for an hour and clean your face with cold water.

5. Apple cider vinegar

ACV for acne is another treatment method. ACV has antibacterial properties that kill the bacteria that causes acne. It also has anti-inflammatory properties that reduce inflammation, redness, and pain.

There are many ways to use apple cider vinegar to treat acne. You can either apply it alone or use a combination with other ingredients.

Method 1: Using a cotton ball apply ACV on the affected areas. Let it dry completely and wash it off with cold water. Repeat this daily until you see results.

Method 2: Mix ACV with few drops of water in a spray bottle. Spray the mixture on your pimples and leave it to dry. Wash it off and pat dry. Repeat this daily.

6. Baking soda

Baking soda is one magic ingredient in our kitchen that can be used for a variety of things. It is used for baking. It is also used for teeth whitening. Some people use it as a jewelry cleaner. So is baking soda good for acne too? Hell yeah!

Method: Take 1 part of baking soda with 1 part of honey to make a paste. Apply the mixture to your pimples. Let it stay for 15 minutes and then rinse.
